Chapter 5-8

Chapter 5.
Finally came the day when the school's first regional dance began. Apart from St Martha, three other schools were there. St Anthony's, Cook High and a Presbyterian co-ed private school. In this chapter, Anna meets the man of her dreams and Josie finally gets to know Jacob a little bit better.

Chapter 6.
In chapter 6, things start to heat up between Josie, Christina and Michael. Josie overheard their conversation and got into a fight with Michael. At the end of the chapter, Josie regrets what she has done because honestly she wants to see Michael again.

Michael: "A promise. You keep out of my life, I keep out of yours."

Chapter 7.
In chapter 7, Josie gets to know her Nonna better by a story and actually wants to know more at the end. But at the end of Nonna's story Josie did not want to give her that satisfaction. She learnt things like when her Nonna was married, she got taken halfway across the world. How life was like 40 years ago and her difficulties when she was just 17.

Chapter 8.
Carly Bishop, one of the 'beautiful girls' at St Martha's, the ones who have the most modern hairstyles. She is a part-time model and was even in Hot Pants once. Chapter 8, tells a story of bonding with Michael.

Josie did get in trouble because she broke Carly's precious nose with her Science book. So, she took a bet and called Michael, the one person who she wanted to least call. Though, that call might have just saved her life and her relationship with Michael.
